[* ] is a creative, artistic, dynamic, bilingual collective of multi-diverse individuals joined to build community and initiate positive artistic action.

* Use creativity * To build respect for the environment, diverse communities, and for oneself. Creativity is a visionary tool.
* Play or Die * Play is serious stuff.
* Freedom of Speech * In the true meaning of the term, that is: democracy.
* Non-Hierarchy * No bosses, kings, queens, lords, directors, slaves, and people with big egos. We all have an equal place and voice in [* ].
* Equality * Recognizing and observing our own desire for power as a way to catalyze our lives and create space for others - who in turn create space for us.
* Environment of Inclusion * Positive change starts at home; we want to build a safe space for all different genders, ages, colours, languages, religions, physical attributes, and sexual orientations.
* Autonomy of Thought * Endless and restless movement - impermanence - dogma is the enemy (which is a dogma, which is the enemy, which is a dogma, which is...). OR... my karma ran over my dogma.
* Trust & Transparency * To build a culture of trust; all our actions are open to public view.
* Information and Research * Knowledge is power - to work, play with and use information to create positive change.
* Community & Collaboration * To fuse minds, communities and other like-minded organisations to embark in our exploration of creative empowerment.
* Making Links * To have a holistic approach to life, to avoid 'band-aid solutions': to reveal the power dynamics and social constructions behind what seems ordinary and everyday.
* Idealism * We strive to be idealists with an ACTION PLAN.
* Support * Communality = support, friendship, connection. To be translated into communal support, resource sharing, tool sharing.
