Current & Future Projects:
<> September the 6th, 2004 in the
park adjacent to Metro Square Victoria, our first public
intervention <> had taken place. The idea was
born when 2 members of the collective, Marc-Antoine and Pamela
Cantor realised it was possible to create a special connection
through their eyes. Both artists had different motives in the
carrying out of this eye-contact experiment; one was curious to
see if it was possible to have a similar experience with others,
while the other was curious to see the different reactions and
whether people would be able to receive or not receive projected
positive energy. This intervention is not over; we would like
to carry it out in different locations supported by
documentation.
Nomadic project:
A rough idea in progress on the theme of
nomadism: using the artist's body, performance, process, written
text and fabric. This will be a public intervention and the
site in question is Windsor station. This project is open to
collaboration with other individuals, collectives and
organisations.
Future projects:
Homeless Project
A multi-media project on the theme of
homelessness. This project aims to create collaboration with
other organisations that work with homeless people as well as
other artistic collectives creating projects surrounding this
theme such. This project aims to take a highly ethical
anti-arrogant stance and hopes to make genuine connections with
the homeless. Hopefully this project could aim to educate as
well as demystify. Open to collaboration with other
individuals, collectives and organisations.
Future events:
Birth Event
A birth event will take place to advertise to
Montreal, who * is and to invite other people to join. We hope
to create a multi-disciplinary music/per formative/visual event
where there is no separation between audience and entertainers
i.e. audience creates the entertainment they need/want to see.
This is an intervention to take the passivity away from
entertainment
